Allston Rock City

I love Allston as much as the next person, but I think this picture says it all. I really don't miss living there. Going out there - fine. But passing through the other day, I realized how nice it is to live on a street where there is no trash / barf / homeless people hanging out all the time. Also we have a nice patch of grass. Also I have yet to see a rat! And I can easily park my car.

I do miss that half unearthed tree stump with the trash underneath it. I quite enjoyed seeing what treasures had been left each day. It kind of reminds me of that "leave one, take one" blanket at Camp Bisco IV that had a pair of underwear and half a grilled cheese sandwich on it.

A "joke" from Barron

Barron: What did the buddhist say to the hot dog?

Me: What?

Barron: I'll have one with everything.

Me: I don't think that is how the joke goes.

Barron: Hot dogs have feelings too.

A funny PT moment

Some kid on the PT message board started a thread about how he got hit by a car and blamed it on moe. Here is what he wrote:

"So yeah I went and saw moe. in Rochester last night, knowing that they're mad custie, convinced to go by my "boys" and I got hit by a fucking car coming out. Never again."

Here are the humorous and sympathetic responses

"sounds like you got moe.'d down."

"So you got hit by an automoe.bile ?"

" Wow ! I bet that caused quite a commoe.tion."

" Sounds like you had a moe.mentary lapse of judgement in Geneva NY!"
